How to Stop Spam Emails: SPF, DKIM & DMARC Explained

Spam is more than just annoying — it can hurt your business reputation. The best defence is setting up SPF, DKIM, and DMARC for your domain.

SPF (Sender Policy Framework)

Specifies which mail servers are authorised to send on behalf of your domain.

DKIM (DomainKeys Identified Mail)

Adds a digital signature to each email so recipients know it’s genuine.

DMARC (Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting & Conformance)

Combines SPF and DKIM to block spoofed emails and report abuse attempts.

Next Steps

Want to understand the basics? Start with our MX record guide. Then configure SPF, DKIM, and DMARC in your DNS zone.
