How to Install WordPress in cPanel in 5 Minutes

WordPress is the world’s most popular website platform — and with WP Toolkit in cPanel, you can install it securely and manage it with ease. Follow these steps to get your site online quickly.

1. Log in to cPanel

From your Client Area, click the cPanel Login button for your hosting service.

2. Open WP Toolkit

Once in cPanel, scroll down to the Applications or WordPress section and click WP Toolkit.

WP Toolkit lets you install, manage, update, and secure WordPress sites — all from one interface.

3. Click “Install WordPress”

On the WP Toolkit dashboard, click the Install WordPress button.

Choose your domain from the drop-down list, enter your website name, admin username, password, and email address. Select https:// if you have an SSL certificate installed.

4. Configure Advanced Settings (Optional)

Expand the Advanced section to set your database name, table prefix, or choose to automatically update WordPress and plugins. These settings can be left as defaults for most users.

5. Click “Install”

WP Toolkit will automatically set up your database, download the latest version of WordPress, and complete the installation.

6. Access Your New Website

When the installation finishes, you’ll see your new WordPress site listed in WP Toolkit. Click Log in to open the WordPress Admin Dashboard at yourdomain.com/wp-admin.
